WHOLE HOUSE: JW-113

5 bed on Thesiger Street

Cathays

One of our 'premium' collection - the finest Cardiff has to offer.

This stunningly-remodelled house boasts top-quality carpets and flooring alongside bespoke fixtures and fittings throughout.

The large open-plan kitchen/lounge is complete with an American fridge/freezer, and allows plenty of space for a house of five. The two large bath/shower rooms have been finished to the very highest standard, and are located among the generously sized bedrooms across both floors. The architecturally-resolved layout, with French doors on both sides of the lounge and an 'internal' courtyard as well as rear garden, provides a fluid recreational space ideal for gatherings and airy summer living. All of this, along with top-quality furniture and a built-in hair and makeup station with an illuminated mirror, makes staying in versus going out a tough choice.

Brilliant location on the quiet yet vibrant Cathays street, only a short walk to university buildings and local shops and restaurants.

Please note: On-street parking is restricted in Cardiff. If required, ask us about permit eligibility with Cardiff Council.

Why rent a John Winter house?

Quite simply, I provide the best houses and the best service at great prices.

I have built my reputation by offering high quality homes for university students for over 50 years and I strive to be the very best student housing provider. I’m proud to be the only one in Cardiff with my name above the door.

My houses are in the most attractive student locations and are refurbished to the highest standards, and because I’m not a letting agent — I own every house I let — my excellent team and I can provide you the best service. Ask any of our current or former tenants firsthand and they’ll tell you what living in a John Winter house is like!

I know the importance of a safe, secure and comfortable home whilst at university, and everything about my business, from the design of my houses to the way you’ll interact with my team, is focused on ensuring you have the best possible experience of student life in Cardiff.

Don't just take our word for it

The vast majority of our tenants come to us based on recommendations from family and friends who have lived with us!

This really is the ‘crème de la crème’ of lettings for students. You are a fantastic team and I can’t thank you enough. Victoria — Coburn Street & Fitzroy Street

I love our modern lounge with ceiling beams and electric roof windows Chantelle, Coburn Street

We only wish we’d found John Winter when searching for our first house — this year has been worlds apart from our last agent! Thank you! Ashley, Thesiger Street

Every time we have friends over we love hearing the same remark — “there’s no way this is a student house!” Milly, Coburn Street

The best houses, no bond, no agency fees, and the best service without a doubt Daria — Woodville Road

John has the best positions in Cathays, although we didn’t realise it when we took the house Carly, Woodville Road
